Above: An amazing creature visited London this weekend. Most of the west end was closed to traffic and huge crowds were sprayed with water by the elephant, and entertained with excellent live music. Forty feet high and 42 tonnes in weight, this beautiful creature will capture the hearts and minds of everyone who sees it."

I saw it in Trafalgar Square on Saturday and it was a remarkable sight.
